What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

This item is useful when you own an item of equipment that is at the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. This item allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful, the system will be restored to its initial state. This is usually an error, but it could also be an upgrade. It is an excellent idea to save an upgrade when you're close to the maximum capacity of an item, and to use it as an emergency.
